COMMENTS: When I say Donna Troy is my one true fashionspiration (alongside Jem and the Holograms/The Misfits), I am not joking.

STUFFS: black dolman tunic, silver belt, galaxy leggings, glitter wedges, silver chain tassel earrings

COMMENTS: Hahaha oh my god, whenever I wear this dress, I just remember that one time I wore it to a PoliSci class at university, and this woman who sat next to me went, “Why do you ALWAYS wear dresses?”

Me: Because I like to wear dresses…?
Woman: You don’t think dresses are oppressive?
Me: …not to me personally, no, since I choose to wear them. I think that anyone who wants to wear a dress should be able to.
Woman: So you think all women should all want to wear dresses.

And at that point, I think I was like, oh my god I’m just gonna go back to looking over my notes now bye! And then I wore a dress every time I went to that class for the rest of the semester. Anyway, here I am being a FLOWERY TOOL OF THE PATRIARCHY.

COMMENTS: Hmm, today’s color palette is kind of muted. Oh well, can’t wear neon every day I guess. (OR CAN YOU? hi new life goal)

Good old sweater dresses, you are my sartorial best friends for life winter. And today wasn’t even cold cold, so no extra cardigan necessary! Aside from that, can I just say that SoH tights are THE BEST TIGHTS. Soft, super stretchy, super durable, and available in a wide variety of colors.

COMMENTS: Oh look, it’s the accessory affectionally referred to as the Signet Ring of DC Rage (… it gets a lot of use). This is probably my favorite outfit at the moment because PINK! BLACK! SPACE! STRIPES! And DOLMAN DOLMAN DOLMAN oh my god I love dolman tops so much you guys, you do not even know.

STUFFS: stripey dolman sweater (topshop), black bodycon skirt (topshop), galaxy leggings (blackmilk), POW! heroine ring (modcloth), silver chain earrings (modcloth), rose print beanie (I have no idea!)

COMMENTS: okay, these shoes are badass, and they will go awesomely with yellow or  red tights (they’d go nicely with the red skinnies too, but then the fab lightning buckle would be covered up, boo). aside from that I LOVE TYING MY HAIR UP IN SCARVES. MAYBE YOU NOTICED.
