COMMENTS: I love this dress. It has excellent twirl-factor, lace ruffles, AND it’s in mint which is just an excellent color. Also, hahaha enjoy the view of my room? I’m sorry it’s a mess. you can see my dvd collection to the left, with all my nail polish bottles hanging out on top! And then there’s a bookcase on my right (Totoro approves this outfit).

COMMENTS: HA okay, these photos accidentally clicked before I was ready to officially  ~pose~ but I’m keeping them because of my hilarious faces and the fact that they capture me mid dork-dance. Anyway! This is especially cute with the cutoffs, but omg I’m tired and I don’t want to stand up, so this is what you get to see. Proud of my eye makeup, with you can’t see very well, but consists of gradient pink shadow, black pencil liner, and liquid glittery gold liner on top of that.

STUFFS: skull-print chiffon shirt (modcloth), gold bracelet (modcloth), neon bracelets, pink lace cami, cutoffs, star mirror earrings (etsy)

COMMENTS: I wore this out today and someone asked me why I looked like I was about to Go To The Mall with Robin Scherbatsky. Which, omg, what a great compliment. If I can look like a reject from a late 80’s early 90’s music video every day, I know I’m being true to myself. Anyway, I also wore leopard print peep-toe pumps (w/BOWS!) and though they looked quite lovely with my rainbow nail polish and turquoise leggings (neon turquoise or neon pink + leopard print = yes always) I couldn’t manage to get them in shot. Hahaha taking pictures with webcams!

COMMENTS: When I say Donna Troy is my one true fashionspiration (alongside Jem and the Holograms/The Misfits), I am not joking.

STUFFS: black dolman tunic, silver belt, galaxy leggings, glitter wedges, silver chain tassel earrings

COMMENTS: Hahaha oh my god, whenever I wear this dress, I just remember that one time I wore it to a PoliSci class at university, and this woman who sat next to me went, “Why do you ALWAYS wear dresses?”

Me: Because I like to wear dresses…?
Woman: You don’t think dresses are oppressive?
Me: …not to me personally, no, since I choose to wear them. I think that anyone who wants to wear a dress should be able to.
Woman: So you think all women should all want to wear dresses.

And at that point, I think I was like, oh my god I’m just gonna go back to looking over my notes now bye! And then I wore a dress every time I went to that class for the rest of the semester. Anyway, here I am being a FLOWERY TOOL OF THE PATRIARCHY.

COMMENTS: Hmm, today’s color palette is kind of muted. Oh well, can’t wear neon every day I guess. (OR CAN YOU? hi new life goal)

Good old sweater dresses, you are my sartorial best friends for life winter. And today wasn’t even cold cold, so no extra cardigan necessary! Aside from that, can I just say that SoH tights are THE BEST TIGHTS. Soft, super stretchy, super durable, and available in a wide variety of colors.

COMMENTS: Oh look, it’s the accessory affectionally referred to as the Signet Ring of DC Rage (… it gets a lot of use). This is probably my favorite outfit at the moment because PINK! BLACK! SPACE! STRIPES! And DOLMAN DOLMAN DOLMAN oh my god I love dolman tops so much you guys, you do not even know.

STUFFS: stripey dolman sweater (topshop), black bodycon skirt (topshop), galaxy leggings (blackmilk), POW! heroine ring (modcloth), silver chain earrings (modcloth), rose print beanie (I have no idea!)

COMMENTS: okay, these shoes are badass, and they will go awesomely with yellow or  red tights (they’d go nicely with the red skinnies too, but then the fab lightning buckle would be covered up, boo). aside from that I LOVE TYING MY HAIR UP IN SCARVES. MAYBE YOU NOTICED.
